ANaBoRaRe is the promoter of the phenotypic and genomic characterization project of the Reggiana Breed, for optimal management of its genetic resources
As the genetic resource bank of the Reggiana Breed, we control the production of the semen from the new bulls that are approved by the Association.

Rich in proteins, casein, calcium, phosphorus, citric acid, and ideal for the production of Parmigiano Reggiano.
Parmigiano Reggiano Red Cows
The Reggiana Breed of cows produces a milk that is ideal for making Parmigiano Reggiano. It has been the salvation of this animal breed.
