It is one of the farms of the Reggiana mountain in the valleys of the Dolo and Secchia rivers. The whole area has a strong agricultural vocation, and is beautifully scenic, with numerous nature trails.
The truffle festival is in November and there is a permanent exhibit of antique objects called “E’ Bansciulin”.
Tiziano, father of Alberto and former master cheese maker, explains to us his desire to reopen the family business and to manage it along with his sons and his brother, completely focusing on the Red Reggiana cattle.
They are resistant, master animals. Their milk is very suitable for cheese making.
